King Aham: Disciple of Spirit Dragons

King Aham: Disciple of Spirit Dragons
-
Once a king of the small but prosperous kingdom of Maha. For a hundred generations, this kingdom found power, riches and prosperity through the unique practice of hunting spirit dragons. The people and the previous monarch chose the king to rule, and so he did with kindness, righteousness and strength. He had a loving queen and many children, but amid his prosperity, a plague took his family and most of his subjects. Rought with guilt, loneliness and despair, The King climbed to the tallest mountain in sight so he could look upon the clouds and the land one last time before throwing himself into the afterlife. As he was falling, he landed on the back of Siva, the king of Spirit Dragons who was hostile but curious as to why a human was falling from so high. They found common ground in having lost much of their brethren and having failed their subjects. The King asked to be a subject of Siva and serve the spirit dragons and Siva agreed but only under the condition that The King undergo the painful transformation into a dragon. The King accepted but only turned into part dragon and took on the name "Aham" to serve as Siva's human avatar and defend the remaining spirit dragons.
